VMTools for differencing XML

Managebility points to a list of Ten Truly Obscure But Useful Java Projects. Among these projects is VMTools, which can be used to find out the differences between two XML files. The main limitations are:
  • XML comments are not supported
  • XML processing instructions are not supported

Online Editor for SlideML

The Bitflux Blog announces the availability of an online Editor for SlideML. This editor is based on the great Bitflux Editor and works in almost any modern Mozilla-compatible browser (but not Mozilla 1.7). SlideML is an XML application for creating presentation slides in different output formats.

Damagecontrol 0.2 prerelease

There is a prerelease of version 0.2 of Damagecontrol. This prerelease makes it easier to get the source code (the CVS repository is very hard to find), but there is no useful documentation on getting started and the downloads are...
...virtually guarantueed not to work.
This means one will have to wait until an usable release is available.
