WordML to XSL-FO

Keith Soltys has found another WordML to XSL-FO converter. WordML is the XML format used by newer versions of the Microsoft Word word processor for saving documents. XSL-FO is the official standard for representing printable information in XML.

Java 6 Mustang Gtk-Look-and-Feel

Finally! The Java Swing team working at Java 6, codename Mustang created a version of the Gtk-Look-and-Feel that picks up the Gtk-Engine of the user of a Linux desktop. The effect is that Java applications are no longer looking like alien applications, but they share the look and feel of all other applications of the desktop.
